Frequently asked questions

Is the game available in English?

Yes. Starting with version 1.0 the game is available in English and Russian.

How do I play?

Pick a map and start a run. Choose a tower at the bottom of the screen and tap a free cell next to the road. Creeps walk the road to the exit, and every creep that gets through costs lives. Tap a tower to upgrade or sell it. The ? button opens the in-game reference with the damage and armour table, ranks and waves.

Is my run saved if I leave the game?

Yes. The game pauses itself when you switch away and saves the run in progress. Next time, continue it from the start screen. After an update that changes the game rules, a run saved in an older version may not be continued; your best results per map are kept.

What does calling the next wave early do?

It starts the next wave before the timer runs out and pays a gold bonus. The earlier you call, the bigger the bonus, and the less time you have to build.

Why did my tower lose its rank and stars when I sold it?

That is by design. Ranks and stars belong to the tower that earned them, and selling returns gold only for the tower itself. A veteran tower is worth more than its price, so think twice before replacing it.

Does the game need the internet? Are there ads or purchases?

No, no and no. Maulcraft works fully offline, shows no ads and has no in-app purchases. It also collects no data: see the privacy policy.

How do I reset my progress?

All progress is stored only on your device. To start from scratch, delete the app and install it again. This removes your saved run and best results.
